About...
The work of the Office of Emergency Preparedness is to strengthen the Columbus community's ability to prepare and respond to emergencies. We do this by working with other agencies, developing and practicing plans of action, watching and responding to signs of unusual disease, training staff to be prepared to take action to protect the health and safety of Columbus residents and providing the public with information on how to prepare and respond in an emergency.
