Solid Waste Licensing & Inspection Program

Program Services

The purpose of the program is to license and inspect solid waste facilities in the City of Columbus in accordance with chapters 3745-27, 3745-28, 3745-30, 3745-31 and 3745-37 of the Ohio Administrative Code. For other environmental health licenses, go to Environmental Health Licensing Program.

Who Is The Program For?

The program is applied to all solid waste transfer stations, tire shredder, and compost facilities.

How To Use The Program

Citizens may register solid waste facility related complaints at 645-8191.
