The Franklin County Child Fatality Review 3rd Annual Community Report outlines the causes of death for children under 18, and offers recommendations to healthcare providers, parents and the community to prevent future deaths. The report summarizes the leading causes of death for Franklin County infants and children. The report outlines the causes of all reviewed deaths, including: - prematurity

What is Child Fatality Review? Administered by Columbus Public Health, The Franklin County Child Fatality Review (CFR) reviews the circumstances surrounding child deaths each year, and makes recommendations to reduce preventable infant and childhood deaths. This community-based multi-disciplinary team, includes representatives from: - Columbus Public Health

- Children’s Hospital
- The Center for Child and Family Advocacy
- Franklin County Children’s Services
