There are also opportunities for placements in:

  • marketing

  • and other diverse areas

If you are interested in a clinical placement for academic credit, the course instructor should contact the program area of interest to discuss opportunities.  An agreement with the school or college will need to be current.  Students will be expected to negotiate the learning experience with the instructor and the preceptor and complete a project[s] during the placement.

All students who participate in a clinical rotation or internship must follow our Confidentiality Policy and sign a Confidentiality Agreement.  Students must also wear their student identification at all times and park in the designated parking areas.

Environmental Health Summer Internships

For Senior and Junior level undergraduate students majoring in environmental health sciences seeking to satisfy a National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) accredited program requirement.

The twelve-week (480 hours) internship exposes the student to a full range of environmental health programming within a large metropolitan health department.  The student will be assigned to a specific program area, rotate weekly through each of the environmental health programs, and complete and present a field experience project.

Interested students should send a letter of interest and their resume by March 1st to contact us.
